About Juerana Advisory

Helping organisations make better long-term decisions.

Juerana Advisory is an environmental intelligence and advisory boutique practice working where strategy, sustainability, responsible business and impact meet.

Our essence

Rigour, with a human perspective.

Juerana Advisory helps organisations navigate complexity and create lasting value. We bring careful analysis together with a clear understanding of people, context and commercial reality.

Independent and partnership-oriented, we work closely with clients across borders and disciplines. Small by design. Serious about strategy. Built for long-term thinking.

At the intersection of strategy, sustainability, responsible business and impact

The name

From a native tree to a way of working.

Inspired by the renowned “juerana” trees, juerana-prego (Parkia pendula) and juerana-branca (Albizia pedicellaris), Juerana is a native tree of Brazil’s Atlantic Forest, particularly characteristic of the southern coast of Bahia, where the founder of Juerana Advisory grew up. The brand was born from the idea that resilience is built through connection.

The role of jueranas as pioneer species in the recovery and regeneration of forest ecosystems reflects this idea. Many species known as jueranas are large canopy trees that play an important role in shaping forest ecosystems and can contribute to agroforestry systems such as the traditional cabruca system used in cocoa cultivation in southern Bahia.

The diversity of species known as jueranas reflects principles that are at the heart of our work: conservation, coexistence, regeneration, and a long-term perspective.

The Brazilian Atlantic Forest reminds us that no system exists in isolation. People, organisations, and nature are interconnected, and lasting progress depends on understanding these relationships.

It is within this context that Juerana Advisory exists: to help organisations make better decisions in the face of complexity, developing strategies that are not only successful today, but resilient for the future.

Our logo is also inspired by this connection. The floral forms represented in the symbol draw inspiration from the flowers of the two juerana trees that give our brand its name: at the top, the juerana-branca (Albizia pedicellaris); at the bottom, the juerana-prego (Parkia pendula). From nature to lasting impact.
